PORTALES, N.M. – The field of 64 has been set and regional seedings have been assigned as Eastern New Mexico women's basketball will face off against Texas A&M-Commerce in the first round of the NCAA South Central Regional Tournament.
 
Tipoff is scheduled for Friday, March 13 at 1:30 p.m. inside RIP Griffin Center in Lubbock, Texas. The tournament will be held on campus of No. 1 seeded Lubbock Christian and tickets will be available starting at 4 p.m. on www.LCU.edu/tickets.
 
The Hounds enter the regional tourney as the No. 7 seed, facing off against Commerce who owns the No. 2 seed and is ranked as the #7 team in the nation.
 
Eastern played well in the Lone Star Conference Tournament and made it through to the second round for the first time since 1993 before running into the Lions in the semifinal round.
