PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico women's basketball will travel to Silver City, N.M. to take on Western New Mexico University on Thursday, Dec. 9, with first tip set for 5:30 p.m.

The Hounds faced tough competition in its last game versus West Texas A&M University, falling 68-51.
Natalie Stice led Eastern with 15 points, while
Kamirah Decker pulled down a career high 12 rebounds and added nine points.

ENMU currently stand at 3-2 on the season after faltering in its last two games. The Hounds are averaging 60.8 points per game (ppg), while holding teams to 63.8 ppg. Eastern are posting a shooting percentage of 38.1%, draining 33.8% of its three-pointers, and 63.9% from the stripe. Western are suppling a 36.6% shooting percentage from the field, finding 32.5% from range, and hold a 55.9% from the free-throw line. Western New Mexico have a balanced offense, with five different players averaging seven or more points. Kyanne Kowatch leads the group with 11.0 ppg, with Destiny Johnson and Abigail Walter each adding 8.6 ppg. Johnson is the leading rebounder in the LSC with 11.2 rpg, while also adding 2.2 bpg (4
