PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico women's basketball will battle the reigning national champions #19 Lubbock Christian University in a non-conference contest on Thursday, Feb. 17, at Greyhound Arena. First tip is scheduled for 5 p.m. The Hounds will be sporting pink jersey's as part of Pink Night.

Iyanna McCurdy made a week to remember, averaging 20.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game, including a career best 28 points against Oklahoma Christian.

The Lady Chaps split their games this past weekend, beating Cameron University 75-49, and losing to West Texas A&M, 55-48. LCU have put together a 21-5 record, and a 10-4 LSC standing.
Lubbock Christian are one of the best defensive teams in the nation, allowing just 52.2 ppg, leading the LSC and 4
th in all of Division II. On offense, LCU is scoring 65.5 ppg. The Chapperals are shooting 43.2% from the field (3
rd in LSC), 33.2% from behind the arc (5
th), and hold the best free throw percentage in the LSC at 78.9%. Lubbock Christian find 31.2 rpg, dish out 13.3 apg, collect 9.9 spg (4
th in LSC), and create 3.3 bpg.
