PORTALES, N.M. – After spending the majority of 2023 on the road, Eastern New Mexico Woman's Basketball return to Greyhound Arena this weekend for a pair of games. First, ENMU will take on Texas A&M International on Thursday, Jan. 19, with first tip set for 5:15 p.m. Then, the Greyhounds will face Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday, Jan. 21, with tipoff set for 1 p.m.

The Greyhounds faced a pair of tough games against difficult competition in their last two games. ENMU fell to Lubbock Christian 77-55, and were handed an 84-55 defeat to #20 West Texas A&M.
SCOUTING THE HOUNDS
Eastern New Mexico stand at 7-8 record overall with a 4-6 LSC standing. So far this season, the Greyhounds average 64.3 points per game (ppg) and allow 63.3 ppg. ENMU holds a 34.5% field goal percentage, 27.5% shooting from three-point range, and 72.7% at the foul line. Eastern collect 41.2 rebounds per game (rpg), 9.7 assists per game (apg), and 10.1 steals per game (spg).

Deja Adrian paces the Greyhounds scoring with 16.9 ppg, along with a team best 7.1 rpg.
Edecia Beck makes a big impact with 11.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
Lazurea Saunders contributes 6.1 rpg for the Greyhounds, while adding 7.9 ppg.
Bella Stone adds 8.7 ppg, and
Ashley Shipley scores 8.6 ppg. Stone leads the team in assists (3.1 apg) and steals (2.0 spg).

th in the LSC for field goal percentage (.427). Beck is the top free throw shooter in the conference, converting 55 of 58 attempts (.948). Adrian sits in 5

SCOUTING THE DUSTDEVILS
Texas A&M International find themselves in a three-game losing skid, after losing a pair of games in its last weekend of conference play. The Dustdevils were beaten by UT Tyler, 77-69, on Thursday, Jan. 12, then fell to #12 Texas Woman's, 66-60, on Saturday, Jan. 14. Overall, TAMIU currently sit 11-7 on the season with a 4-6 LSC standing.

Texas A&M International hold one of the top offenses and defenses in the conference, scoring 69.8 ppg (5
th in LSC), shooting 43.0% from the field (2
nd in LSC), and allowing just 59.1 ppg (3
rd in LSC). The Dustdevils also standout with a LSC best 16.2 apg, along with 11.7 spg (2

The Javelinas enter the weekend off the back of a 61-46 win over UT Tyler. Before that, TAMUK fell to #12 Texas Woman's, 79-50. Overall, Texas A&M-Kingsville hold an 8-8 overall record with a 5-5 conference standing. Prior to facing the Greyhounds, the Javelinas will face Western New Mexico on Thursday, Jan. 19 in Silver City, N.M.
Entering this weekend, the Javelinas are posting 63.0 ppg and allowing 61.1 ppg. Texas A&M-Kingsville hold a 41.5% field goal percentage, shooting 33.9% from three (2
nd in the LSC), and 67.7% at the foul line. TAMUK secure 33.9 rpg, dish out 14.2 apg (2
nd in LSC), and pick up 6.1 spg. The Javelinas are the best team in taking care of the ball, committing a conference low 14.0 turnovers per game, while posting the best assist-turnover ratio (1.01, 14.2 apg/14.0 tpg).
Texas A&M-Kingsville bring balanced scoring with four student-athletes averaging over 9.0 ppg. Brianna Pena leads the group with 11.0 ppg, Mia Rivers adds 10.1 ppg, Jayde Tschritter chips in with 9.7 ppg, and Georgia provides 9.5 ppg. Tschritter is a dangerous three-point shooter, connecting on 36.6% of attempts (3
