PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Woman's Basketball heads back to Texas for the final time in the regular season as they face #25 Angelo State University and UT Permian Basin this weekend. ENMU will first face the Rambelles on Thursday, Jan. 26, with first tip scheduled for 4:30 p.m., then the Greyhounds head to Odessa, Texas to face the Falcons on Saturday, Jan. 28, with a 12 p.m. start time.

The Greyhounds split its last pair of games in LSC play, beating Texas A&M International, 73-67, and falling to Texas A&M-Kingsville, 50-48. During the win over TAMIU,
Ashley Shipley recorded a season high 18 points in six made three pointers, while
Edecia Beck provided 17 points with nine boards. In the loss against TAMUK, Beck provided a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds) and
Bella Stone paced the team with 12 points.
SCOUTING THE HOUNDS
The Greyhounds hold an 8-9 standing, with a 5-7 LSC record, and 2-4 in division play. Overall, this season Eastern average 63.8 points per game (ppg) and allow 62.8 ppg. ENMU has a 34.0% field goal percentage, shoot 27.7% from three, and 72.4% at the free throw line. Eastern collect 41.6 rebounds per game (rpg), 10.2 assists per game (apg), and 10.1 steals per game (spg).

Deja Adrian, scoring 16.9 ppg along with a team best 7.1 rpg. Beck contributes a solid 11.6 ppg and 6.6 rpg, while Stone and Shipley each add 9.1 ppg.
Lazurea Saunders is a crucial rebounder for the Greyhounds with 6.4 rpg, while Stone leads the team in assists (3.3 apg) and steals (2.0 spg).

Around the conference, ENMU are second in rebounding (41.6 rpg), boosted by a conference best 14.8 offensive rebounds per game. The Greyhounds are 4
th in the LSC for steals with 10.1 per game. As a team the Greyhounds get to the free throw line, averaging 22.35 free throw attempts per game (FTA), which is 4

th in the nation for free throws made per game at 16.18. Individually, Adrian is the second leading scorer in the conference (16.9 ppg) and is 5

th place for free throw percentage, 66 FTM/79 FTA (83.5%). Additionally, Beck is third in the nation for free throw percentage.
SCOUTING THE #25 RAMBELLES
Angelo State and ENMU will match up for the second time this season, with ASU grabbing the first contest, 73-63, when the two teams met on Jan. 1 at Greyhound Arena. Since then, the Rambelles garner a #25 national ranking based on the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) poll. The Rambelles picked up two wins in their most recent games, 56-55 against St. Mary's and 63-51 over St. Edward's.

The #25 Rambelles hold a 16-3 record, 11-2 in Lone Star play, and 6-1 within the West Division. Angelo State are a very balanced team, putting up stellar numbers in almost every statistical category. ASU currently score 69.3 ppg (4
th in LSC), shoot 41.6% from the field (5
th in the LSC), grab 43.1 rpg (Best in LSC), produce 3.9 blocks per game (3
rd in the LSC), grab 9.37 spg (5

Tayjanna McGhee-Pleasant has emerged as one of the key contributors for ASU, leading the team in scoring (16.2 ppg), rebounding (8.0 rpg), blocking (1.1 bpg), and is second on the team for field goal percentage (45.8%). Sawyer Lloyd is vital on both ends of the floor with 14.6 ppg, 7.7 rpg, and a conference best in assists (5.2 apg) and steals (3.1 spg). Madeline Stephens adds 14.0 ppg, with a 54.1% shooting from the field (2
nd in LSC), to the Rambelles scoring effort.
SCOUTING THE FALCONS
Meanwhile, the Falcons and Greyhounds will meet for the second time this season with the Greyhounds coming away with a 65-60 win in the first meeting (Dec. 30, 2022, at Greyhound Arena). Last weekend, UT Permian Basin were handed a 61-55 loss against St. Edward's, while coming away with a 74-60 win over St. Mary's.

UTPB sport a record of 9-10 this season with a 6-7 LSC record, and 2-5 in division play entering the weekend, and will face Western New Mexico on Thursday, Jan. 26 before facing the Greyhounds. The Falcons are scoring at a clip of 66.9 ppg, along with a field goal percentage of 35.8%, 28.6% from three, and 74.1% from the foul line (4
th in LSC). UTPB standout defensively with a conference best 13.0 spg, while securing 34.6 rpg and suppling 11.2 apg.

All five starters for the Falcons are averaging over 9.0 points per game, with Andreea Mancha leading with 12.6 ppg. Alexus Quaadman nearly averages a double-double with 9.4 ppg and 9.3 rpg (1
st in LSC for rebounds). Avalon Munoz runs the point for the Falcons with a team best 4.5 apg (4
