FROM THE SOURCE
"We knew going into today's game that it could turn into a slugfest with the wind blowing out," said Head Baseball Coach Riley Price. "It was going to come down to which team minimized the most on the mound and today that was them. We had a rocky start and didn't execute on the mound like we needed to," said Price. "Too many pitches left up in the zone against a team who lives off of power will get you in trouble. Offensively, I thought we could have struck out less to make some big innings even bigger, but I thought we fought hard until the end," said Price. "Luna did a good job out of the pen to give us a chance, but the damage was already done. We got a few more bats going today so we need to build on that, figure a few things out on the mound, and get a little tougher mentally going into the next few weeks," said Price.
