PORTALES, N.M. – After over one month away, Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball plays their first home games of the new year this upcoming weekend. The Greyhounds start a West Division weekend against Cameron on Thursday, Jan. 11, with first tip set for 5 p.m. Then, Eastern will tangle with Midwestern State on Saturday, Jan. 13, beginning at 1 p.m. Fans that bring in three or more canned food items will be given a general admission ticket for both ENMU Men's and Women's Basketball games on Saturday.

The Greyhounds hope rebound after a pair of tough losses on the road to begin 2024.
Jaz Salon posted a game best 21 points during a 59-57 defeat against UT Permian Basin. Then, the Greyhounds dropped a back-and-forth road game with Angelo State, 66-55, with
Ishuana Hunter finding 19 points.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern returns home looking to break a six-game losing streak, sitting at 4-8 on the season and 0-6 on Lone Star Conference (LSC) play. The Greyhounds are scoring 59.9 points per game (ppg), while allowing 63.3 ppg. For shooting from the field, ENMU holds a 39.3 FG%, 28.4 3PT%, and 74.1 FT%. Eastern New Mexico are a tough team on the glass, allowing just 32.5 rebounds per game (rpg) and collect 33.8 rpg. The mark for opponent rebounds is 4
th in the LSC. Additionally, Eastern pick up 9.6 assists per game (apg), find 10.1 steals per game (spg), and grab 1.1 blocks per game (bpg).

Jamila Nansikombi-Gunter is next best in both categories, averaging 11.9 ppg and 6.0 rpg.
Deja Adrian (11.7 ppg) and
Vanessa Oduah (10.3 ppg) are both key contributors to the offense, while Oduah paces the team in assists (2.2 apg).
SCOUTING THE AGGIES
The Aggies look to get off the mark in 2024, holding a 3-10 record along with a 1-6 conference record. From their last nine games, the Aggies have just one victory, falling in their last weekend of play to Lubbock Christian (63-48) and West Texas A&M (69-63).

Despite a 3-10 record, the Mustangs have picked up all three of their wins in the last four games with a 3-4 LSC standing. Recently, MSU grabbed a statement victory over West Texas A&M, 75-55, while falling in overtime to Lubbock Christian, 68-61.
Midwestern State stands as one of the top rebounding teams in the league with 40.0 rpg (3
rd in LSC). The team benefits from a league leading 16.8 offensive rebounds per game, scoring 64.8 ppg, but allows 75.8 ppg. The Mustangs sport a 34.3% field goal percentage, shoot just 21.6% from behind the arc, and 70.8% at the charity stripe. Midwestern State sports 10.8 apg, 8.5 spg, and 1.8 bpg.
Kertisa Amos and Zarria Carter are the big contributors for MSU, with Amos scoring 16.9 ppg (5
