PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Women's Basketball hopes to snap a two-game losing skid as the Greyhounds welcome conference newcomers Sul Ross State on Thursday, January 14. First tip from Steve Loy Family Foundation Arena is 5 p.m.

SERIES INSIGHT

  • Playing each other for the first time in nearly a decade, the Greyhounds hold a convincing 30-2 record against the Lobos. Thursday will mark the first meeting between the programs as conference rivals.
  • Eastern is on a nine-game winning streak against Sul Ross State, meeting for just the second time this century. The last meeting between the two teams occurred in 2016, with the Greyhounds winning 82-46.

  • The Greyhounds remain the top scoring team in the Lone Star Conference, finding 71.6 ppg. Defensively, the Greyhounds allow just 56.3 ppg (5th in LSC), giving Eastern the best scoring margin in the conference (+15.3). ENMU shoots 43.0% from the floor, 35.8% from three-point range, and 70.0% at the foul line.
