PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico women's basketball team travels to Edmond, Okla., to face Oklahoma Christian on Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. CT. The Greyhounds look to snap a four-game skid and maintain their edge in the Lone Star Conference tournament race.
Eastern leads the overall series between the programs 5-3 and won the last matchup between the teams this season in Portales, 63-50.
Chloe Dallas continues to pace the Greyhounds' attack, averaging 13.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive .604 from the field. The versatile forward has also contributed 15 steals and 10 blocks on the defensive end.
Julieta Ceja provides a strong secondary scoring option, averaging 10.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per contest. Ceja has been efficient from beyond the arc, connecting at a .429 clip from three-point range while tallying 21 steals.
Aaliyah Smith orchestrates the offense with 9.5 points per game and a team-leading 49 assists. Smith has been active in the passing lanes with 33 steals while averaging 2.1 rebounds and shooting .372 from the field.
For Oklahoma Christian, Taylor Jackson leads the Eagles with 14.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. The forward shoots .480 from the field and has recorded 29 steals and 27 assists.
Kenzie Willis adds 9.5 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest while shooting .356 from the field. Willis has been disruptive defensively with 26 steals and has dished out 22 assists.
Allyah Leusogi-Ape contributes 8.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game and has been a threat from distance, shooting .400 from three-point range.
Eastern holds advantages in several key statistical categories. The Greyhounds average 72.3 points per game compared to Oklahoma Christian's 65.3 and outscore opponents by an average of 10.9 points per contest. The Eagles hold a slim 1.3-point scoring margin over their opponents.
The Greyhounds shoot .414 from the field while limiting opponents to .391, compared to Oklahoma Christian's .408 field goal percentage and .380 opponent mark. From three-point range, Eastern connects at a .322 rate while the Eagles shoot .271.
Both teams average 38.7 rebounds per game, though Eastern holds opponents to 35.5 boards while Oklahoma Christian limits foes to 30.6.
Eastern's assist numbers reflect a balanced offensive attack, averaging 14.6 assists per game compared to 11.5 for the Eagles. The Greyhounds also force more turnovers, with opponents averaging 21.4 giveaways per contest compared to Eastern's 16.5. Oklahoma Christian averages 21.8 turnovers against 17.5 for opponents.

Eastern leads the LSC and sits fifth in the nation in bench points per game at 36.1, showcasing the program's depth.
The Greyhounds have dropped four consecutive games, most recently falling 61-47 to UT Tyler this past Saturday in Portales.
Martrice Brooks paced the Greyhounds' offensive effort against the Patriots, finishing with nine points on 3-of-6 shooting from the field. Brooks was efficient from the charity stripe, converting 3-of-5 free throws, while adding two steals, two rebounds and a block in the losing effort.
Oklahoma Christian enters Thursday's contest with momentum after posting a 75-64 victory over Midwestern State this past Saturday in Wichita Falls, Texas.
