PORTALES, N.M. - Eastern New Mexico women's basketball will look to avenge an earlier one-point loss when the Greyhounds travel to Canyon to face No. 7 West Texas A&M on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds (13-9, 9-5 LSC) enter the rivalry matchup riding momentum from a dominant 76-47 victory over Cameron on Saturday, snapping a five-game losing streak. The seventh-ranked Lady Buffs (21-2, 13-1 LSC) defeated Cameron 75-59 this past Thursday.

Senior forward
Chloe Dallas has been the catalyst for Eastern's offense, averaging 14.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive .583 from the field. Dallas delivered her most dominant performance of the season against Cameron, recording 25 points and 11 rebounds on 11-of-15 shooting for her fifth double-double of the year. The senior has also been active defensively with 21 steals and 12 blocks.

Junior forward
Julieta Ceja provides a reliable secondary scoring option, averaging 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Ceja has been lethal from beyond the arc, connecting on .492 of her three-point attempts while contributing 21 steals on the defensive end.

Junior guard
Aaliyah Smith has emerged as a key contributor off the bench, averaging 9.8 points per game while leading the team with 54 assists. Smith showcased her scoring ability against Cameron with 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting in just 16 minutes. She has also been disruptive defensively with 35 steals and adds 2.0 rebounds per contest.

For West Texas, Kyla Kane leads the offense with 13.0 points per game while adding 4.0 rebounds, 24 assists and 16 steals. Kane shoots .410 from the field and has been instrumental in the Lady Buffs' success.

Taylor Haggan provides an efficient inside presence, averaging 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting .578 from the field. Haggan has also contributed 19 steals on the defensive end.

Henley West rounds out the Lady Buffs' scoring threats with 10.1 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. West has been exceptional from three-point range, connecting on .615 of her attempts, and anchors the defense with a team-high 28 blocks.

Eastern has built its identity on defensive pressure and bench production. The Hounds lead the conference and rank fifth nationally in bench points per game at 35.1, a strength that was on full display against Cameron. Eastern also averages 12.0 steals per game, ranking third in the LSC and 33rd in the nation.

Offensively, the Greyhounds average 71.7 points per game while shooting .413 from the field and .312 from three-point range. Eastern controls the glass with 38.8 rebounds per game and distributes the ball well with 14.3 assists per contest. The Greyhounds average 16.8 turnovers per game but force 21.4 from their opponents. At the free-throw line, Eastern shoots .633, and the team adds 2.3 blocks per game.

WT enters as one of the LSC's most balanced teams, averaging 77.9 points per game while holding opponents to just 60.1. The Lady Buffs shoot .448 from the field, .337 from three-point range and .721 from the free-throw line. West Texas A&M dominates the boards with 42.3 rebounds per game and facilitates well with 14.8 assists per contest. The Lady Buffs are disciplined with the ball, averaging just 13.5 turnovers while forcing 15.8. Defensively, they add 8.0 steals and 2.6 blocks per game while allowing opponents to shoot just .363 from the field and .272 from beyond the arc.
