ENMU athletics announces 2026 Hall of Honors inductees

PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico will induct four individuals into the ENMU Hall of Honors.
 
This group will be recognized on Friday, October 30 during the hall of honors banquet and during halftime of the ENMU home football game against Central Washington the following day.
 
"This is an excellent group of well-deserving honorees," stated director of athletics Kevin Fite. "We had many nominees this year and the committee agreed that these four individuals rose to the top. We look forward to celebrating the inductees in October."

2026 INDUCTEES

Sheila (Graham) Abarr
Sheila (Graham) Abarr came to Eastern New Mexico from Tucumcari and played volleyball from 1981-84. She helped ENMU reach the NAIA playoffs three consecutive seasons, including a NAIA District VII championship in 1984. The '84 squad went 29-11, which marks the second most wins in program history. In her four years in Portales, the team went 84-50-1. Graham was named a two-time all-district honoree and a first team NAIA academic all-american. She became the first player from ENMU volleyball to earn all-Lone Star Conference and all-tournament honors during the 1984 season. In 1985, she was an assistant for the program and helped the team go 28-12. In 1986, she served as the program's interim coach leading the program to a 22-10 record and coaching four all-conference players and three all-academic honorees.
 
She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from ENMU. Graham retired from the Federal Government as the Public Affairs Officer for the Armer Forces Retirement Home in Washington D.C. and Gulfport, Miss. She spent her career serving active duty, retired service members, and veterans, which was the greatest honor of her career to serve those who served. She married Carl Abarr (USMC retired) and they have two daughters (Rebecca and Donna) and three grandchildren (Ivy, Tristan, and Adelaide).
 
Danee Bustos
Danee Bustos ran for Eastern New Mexico from 2015-19. She advanced to the NCAA DII national championships four times (two indoor, two outdoor) in her time at ENMU. Bustos was recognized with first team all-LSC honors during the 2018 indoor, 2018 outdoor, and 2019 indoor seasons. She also earned all-conference academic team recognition during both the 2018 indoor and outdoor seasons. In 2018, she was named a first team all-american as part of a 4x100 relay that took eighth at nationals. Bustos earned another first team all-american accolade with the short sprint relay team in 2019 after a fifth place finish at nationals. As of induction, Bustos holds four school records – 200m (indoor), high jump (indoor), 400m (outdoor), and 4x100 (outdoor). In 2017-18, she became the first student-athlete to earn Greatest Greyhound and Academic Greyhound in the same year.
 
Bustos currently works as an audiologist at the University of New Mexico Hospital with a passion for pediatric diagnostics.
 
Travis Kennon
Travis Kennon spent four years (1988-91) as a member of the Eastern New Mexico football program. He was named a first team all-Lone Star Conference honoree three times and an LSC offensive lineman of the year twice in his career. In 1991, the Greyhounds won their first ever LSC title with a 7-3-1 (5-1 LSC) record while average 381.3 yards per game on offense. The ENMU offensive guard was named the Greatest Greyhound during the 1992-93 season. He also earned the Brasell MVP award in 1992.
 
Travis received his Bachelor of  Business Administration from Eastern New Mexico. Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Spr 91. He is currently a Senior Business Operations Manager for the largest used car company in the United States. He has been employed with CarMax for 21 years and looking forward to retirement on a beach in the Dominican Republic.
 
Tillman Stevens
Tillman Stevens played football for Eastern New Mexico from 2007-10 and established himself as one of the top defensive players in program history while starring at both cornerback and safety. He played in all 44 games of his collegiate career, making 40 starts, and finished with 283 tackles, 12 interceptions, 48 passes defended, 12.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three blocked kicks.
 
His senior season in 2010 cemented his legacy. After transitioning from cornerback to safety, Tillman started all 11 games and led both ENMU and the Lone Star Conference with 122 tackles, tying for seventh nationally. His six interceptions ranked 11th in the nation, including one returned for a touchdown. He also added seven tackles for loss, two sacks, eight pass breakups, and one blocked kick.
 
For his dominant senior campaign, Stevens earned numerous honors, including First Team All-Lone Star Conference North, Lone Star Conference North Defensive Back of the Year, Daktronics All-Super Region 4, Daktronics First Team All-American, Associated Press Second Team All-American, D2Football.com Honorable Mention All-American, Don Hansen Football Gazette Third Team All-Super Region 4, and 2010 All-LSC Scoop Football Team.
 
Following his Greyhound career, Tillman moved to Europe and joined the Vienna Vikings of the Austrian Football League for the 2012 and 2013 seasons. During his time in Vienna, he played defensive back, wide receiver, and served as the team's primary kick and punt returner. The Vikings captured two Austrian League Championships and one EuroLeague Championship during his tenure.
 
Tillman returned to Portales in 2019 with his wife, Sarah, and their three children, Maddison, Trayden, and Tyce. He currently serves as Member Service Manager and Safety Coordinator at Roosevelt County Electric Cooperative and is the current President of the Roosevelt County Chamber of Commerce.
