LUBBOCK, TEXAS — The Eastern New Mexico University women's rodeo team registered a fourth-place finish at Texas Tech, with
Kortney Cleveland (Sr., Murrieta, Calif./Julian Charter HS) leading the way with a second-place performance in the barrel race. The men's team finished tenth and was paced by
Levi Lord's (Fr., Sturgis, S.D./Sturgis HS) third-place finish in the team roping.
The women's team compiled 205 points, while Tarleton State won the rodeo with 377 points. Texas Tech was the runner up with 247 points, and was followed by Odessa College.
Cleveland rallied from a sixth-place finish in the first go and took second in the short round to place second in the event.
Hayden Segelke-Todd (Sr., Snyder, Colo.) won the first go in the goat tying, while
Cassidy Boggs (Gr., Cyril, Okla./Cyril HS/Tarleton State) split third and fourth in the first go.
The men's team finished with 110 points. Odessa College claimed the team title with 505 points, while New Mexico Junior College was the runner up with 460 points.
Lord took third place after he took second in the first go and fifth in the short round.
