PORTALES, N.M. — After a record-setting performance in a 77-14 victory at Bacone College, the Eastern New Mexico University football team (4-2; LSC 1-2) will try to keep their momentum going as they visit Lone Star Conference rival, Tarleton State (1-4; LSC1-3). Tarleton State will be playing at home for the second time in three weeks, while the Hounds are wrapping up a two-game road swing.

to pull away from Bacone College and post an ENMU-record 77 points.
Kamal Cass carried the ball just four times in the first quarter, but finished with 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Hounds topped the 500-yard mark in the ground game for the first time since the 2007 season and had eight rushing touchdowns.
Brad Hardin scored twice on fumble recoveries and was the first ENMU player in at least a decade with multiple defensive touchdowns in a game. The defense limited the Warriors o just 157 yards of total offense.
Tarleton State took its only lead of last week's game against Texas A&M-Kingsville, with just 1:10 left in the fourth quarter. Le'Nard Meyers
hauled in a 13-yard pass from Alex Craig for a 38-34 lead. The Javelinas drove to the Texan one-yard line, but a mishandled snap allowed Tarleton State to hold on for its first win of the season.

ENMU leads the Lone Star Conference in scoring and rushing offense, and is second in total offense. The Hounds are third in the league in kick returns and net punting. Cass ranks fourth in the LSC in rushing and tied for second in rushing touchdowns.
Adrian Horton is seventh in receiving yards per game, while
Aaron Johnson is 12
th.
Jeremy Buurma is seventh in the league in total offense, while D'maujeric Tucker is ninth in all-purpose yards. Tim Callian ranks third in net punting.

th in tackles per game and 22
nd in tackles for a loss.
On the RoadSince 2013, the Greyhounds have posted a 9-3 record in road games. Over that stretch, the only two losses came at NCAA Division I Incarnate Word, 2014 NCAA Tournament participant Angelo State, and Texas A&M-Commerce. ENMU has won eight of its last 10 road decisions. In 2013, the Hounds clinched the LSC title with a 42-35 decision at Texas A&M-Commerce.
In the SeriesThe Greyhounds lead the overall series with Tarleton State, 12-10, and last defeated the Texans by a
34-27 score on October 14, 2000. Last season, Tarleton State charged to a 21-0 lead and held on for a
59-42 victory at Blackwater Draw.
The series begin on October 14, 1961, with the Greyhounds taking a 42-20 decision at home. The win was one of 12 straight in the series for Eastern, before TSU won the next six.
