RANGER, TEXAS —
Hayden Segelke-Todd's (Sr., Snyder, Colo.) second place performance in the barrel race allowed the ENMU women's rodeo team to split third-fifth place at the Ranger College Rodeo. The men's team split seventh-ninth and were led by
Levi Lord's (Fr., Sturgis, S.D./Sturgis HS) second-place finish in the team roping.
Tarleton State's women's team finished first with 330 points, while Texas tech was the runner up with 225 points. Eastern tied with Weatherford College and Vernon College, each with 120 points.
Segelke-Todd earned second in the barrel race after finishing second in the first go. She also reached the short round in the goat tying.
Macy Devenport (Jr., Escondido, Calif./Julian Charter HS) was fifth in the first go of the barrel race.
Lindsey Adcock (So., Belen, N.M./Hope HS) finished second in the goat tying in both the first go and average.
Tarleton State also won the men's rodeo with 860 points, while Western Texas was the runner up with 335 points. Odessa College took third place, while ENMU finished with 120 points.
Lord bounced back from a fifth-place finish in the first go of the team roping to claim second in the short round and average.
Logan Vick reached the short round in the steer wrestling.
The ENMU rodeo teams will conclude the regular season this weekend at Tarleton State.
