PORTALES, N.M. – The Eastern New Mexico University Women's Volleyball team fell in straight-sets (25-20, 25-16, 25-21) to Tarleton State on Senior Night at Greyhound Arena. The loss wraps up the 2016 regular season with the 'Hounds to travel to the LSC Tournament beginning next week where it represents the No. 4 overall seed. Eastern falls to 18-12 on the year and 13-7 in Lone Star Conference action.
 
Seniors Lauren Frye, Courtney Lawson, Talaitupu Faumui, Tiana Roebuck and Stevi-Rae Baca played their final home match in front of 485 fans at Greyhound Arena. The seniors contributed to a 9-2 record at home, marking the most home wins by Eastern since the 2002 season.
 
Frye finished with 12 kills on the match and needs 19 at the conference tournament to break the all-time career record for the Greyhounds. Alexis Aguirre notched a double-double with a 14 assist/11 dig performance. Andrea Aguilar led the defensive effort with 19 digs, the most in the match.
