PORTALES, N.M. — The Eastern New Mexico University rodeo teams resumed competition for the first time since mid-October, and turned in a strong performance at the Odessa rode.
Sid Hart paced the team, and placed first in the steer wrestling.
Hart posted a time of 5.3 in the first go to place fifth, but bounced back to win the short round with a time of 4.1.
Hank Filippini placed sixth in the event.
Jacob and
Wesley Gudgell placed fifth in the short round of the team roping, with a time of 10.1.
The ENMU rodeo teams will return to action on March 17, to compete in the Ranger College rodeo.
