PORTALES, NM — With back-to-back scoreless ties against West Texas A&M and Midwestern State last week, the Greyhounds have not allowed a goal at home over the last 3:28:48 at Al Whitehead Field at Greyhound Stadium. The run started with a 2-0 victory over Texas Woman's University on September 24th.
On Friday evening at 7 p.m. MT, the Greyhounds will host Angelo State. on Sunday at 1 p.m.. Eastern will close the home schedule against UT-Permian Basin.
On Sunday, the Greyhounds will honor senior defender
Erin McAnarney. She has been a valuable defender on the soccer team since 2014 and played in 48 games. McAnarney was a key member of the 2014 team which won nine matches and allowed just 1.52 goals per game. Erin made her Greyhound debut on September 4, 2014 against Western State and scored the first goal of her career in 2015 in a win over Texas A&M-International.

After opening the season with four straight overtime contests, the Hounds have played extra sessions in three of their last four. For her play in ties against West Texas A&M and Midwestern State last week, goalkeeper Alejandra Caramillo was named LSC Defensive Player of the Week.
Ariel Lopez has scored a team-high three of ENMU's 12 goals and has dished out a pair of assists.
Jaci Sievers and
Kaitlyn Caro each have a pair of goals for Eastern. Camarillo has played every minute of the season in net for ENMU. She currently has a 1.52 goals against average.
Spence is in his first season with Eastern.

Eastern is 3-16-1 against Angelo State. The team's last win in the series
came on October 12, 2014, by a 2-0 score. Alyssa Prince netted the game-winner late in the first half and added an insurance goal in the second half.

The Tigers bring a record of 1-9-1 into the week, which includes a 3-1 win over Wayland Baptist. The Falcons also earned a tie against Adams State. Deonna Green paces UTPB with three goals. Chemoa Crites has been the Falcon's primary goalkeeper and has a .728 save percentage with a 2.86 goals-against average.
The Hounds are 6-4 against UT-Permian Basin and have split the last four meetings. Last season, the teams split, with
ENMU winning at home by a 3-2 score, and
falling in a 1-0 decision on the road. Eastern is 4-0 at home against UTPB.
