Box Score 2 PORTALES, NM – The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team picked up a pair of wins against LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, Tenn., to move to a program-record 12-1 on the year. With the wins, it marks the best start in team history.

In the first game,
Nicholas Ankerman picked up a go-ahead RBI triple in the fifth inning, scoring Malcom Smith from second to give ENMU the lead for good.
Keenan Dodd and
Nick DeArmond held the Magicians to just one run in the 2-1 win.

In game two, the Hounds raced out to a 9-0 lead before securing the 9-2 win.
Scott Klein tossed 6.1 innings of shutout ball before giving way to
Lane Saunders in the bottom of the seventh.
