Box Score 2 JACKSON, Tenn. – The Eastern New Mexico University baseball team hammered out 44 runs in the team's opening day sweep of Lane College in Jackson, Tenn. The Green and Silver picked up a 21-4 victory in the first game and a 23-0 shutout in game two. With the pair of victories, the Greyhounds open the season 2-0.

Jared Gay had a pair of homers. Reliever
Enrique Perez tossed 5.1 innings of relief in the first game to earn the win while
Scott Klein tossed three hitless innings in the second game to earn the win.
Bryce Welborn had three innings of shutout ball and
Jarron Hill put up a shutout frame.

The Greyhounds return to the diamond tomorrow at 11 a.m. for another doubleheader with the Dragons.
Victor Persad is slated to start the first game and
