CASPER, Wyo. – The Eastern New Mexico University rodeo team sent two female athletes to the short go at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyo.

Tawny Barry is currently in fifth place in the goat tying event. The senior has posted times of 6.8, 6.3 and 6.6 in the first, second and third go, respectively. With an average of 19.7, Barry has earned a berth in the short go on Saturday.

Celie Vick picked up a time of 7.2 seconds on Friday to head to the short go. Over the last several days, the junior has posted times of 6.3 and 6.5 in the first and second go and is in a tie for seventh in the goat tying.

Tierra Gray turned in a pair of no times in the breakaway roping, but ran down a time of 2.3 seconds in the second go to finish in a four-way tie for 30
th at the CNFR.

Lindsey Adcock finished with an average of 21.1 seconds in the goat tying after a time of 6.7 seconds in the goat tying on Friday.
