PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Baseball head to Lawton, Okla. for a pair of Lone Star Conference doubleheader. The first set of two games will be played on Sunday, Feb. 27, with game one set for 12 pm (MST), and game two to follow soon after. The next day, the Hounds start at 11 am (MST) for game one with game two to start immediately after. Game one on both days will be seven innings, while the second game will be a full nine inning contest.
LAST TIME OUTÂ
• Eastern earned a split with non-conference foe Adams State, dropping game one 10-4, and then taking game two 9-7.

Cooper Hamilton went 2-4 in game one against the Grizzles, posting a triple along with an RBI.
Spencer Roach,
Camden Matthews, and
Nyles Duren also recorded an RBI.
• In the Hounds win over Adams State, Roach connected for two humeruns, and
Mason Estrada posted a homer on the board.
Dalton Thatcher picked up the win in 4.1 innings of work, allowing one run from five hits.
SCOUTING THE AGGIESÂ
•Cameron have played 12 games this season, all conference contests, and hold a record of 4-8. In its last series, CU was swept by #5 West Texas A&M University. Game three of the series finished was the closest, but finished 5-4 to the Buffaloes.
•Prior to the West Texas A&M series, Cameron had earned a spilt with both St. Edwards and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
•Jayce Clem leads the Aggies offense with a batting average of .324, with 12 hits and eight runs scored. Jordan Harrison-Dudley and Beau Williams are tied for the team lead in hits with 12, Harrison-Dudley leads the team in RBI's (15).
•On the mound, Kalen Haynes has a record of 2-1 with an ERA of 4.80. Drew Henderson holds an ERA of 1.08 in three appearances just season.

• So far this season, the Hounds have a record of 2-8 with an LSC record of 1-7. Â
• Hamilton posts a .393 batting average, leading the team. Hamilton also leads the Hounds in hits (11) and on base percentage (.500). Roach is the team's leader in RBI's with seven, along with a team best two homeruns.
Nick Schifftner has swung a hot bat in recent games, racking up five hits in his last four games with a batting average of .345 on the season.
• On the hill, Thatcher and
Damian Acosta each have one win this season, with an ERA of 4.85 and 7.11, respectively. Acosta holds a team best 15 strikeouts, and
Tommy Perez is next with 12 putouts.
