PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico baseball heads to Laredo, Texas for a crucial Lone Star Conference series with Texas A&M International University. The four-game series will begin on Friday, Apr. 22, at 12 p.m. with a nine-inning contest. The next day, the teams are set for a doubleheader, with two seven inning games. The series finale is scheduled for a nine-inning contest on Sunday, Apr. 24, beginning at 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUTÂ
• In its last set of games, #12 Angelo State took a sweep over the Hounds.
• The Rams were tough to stop offensively, falling 25-4 (7 Inn.) in game one and 18-5 in game two. In game three, the Rams finished on top 8-1 over ENMU.
• The series finale was the closest of the of all four games, as both teams went back and forth. However, late runs from the Rams in the ninth inning pushed the game past the Greyhounds, 11-6.
SCOUTING THE DUSTDEVILSÂ
• TAMIU played #5 West Texas A&M, stealing one game from the Buffs. The Dustdevils took game two of the series by a score of 10-8. Overall, Texas A&M International have a 13-29 record and a 13-27 conference standing.
• At the plate, the Dustdevils hold a .277 batting average scoring 225 runs from 351 hits. On the mound, TAMIU have a 7.95 ERA allowing 323 runs and 420 hits. Texas A&M International pitchers have recorded 272 strikeouts and opposing hitters have a .326 batting average.
• Matt Kissamis is the team's top hitter, .350 batting average, with 48 hits and 31 RBIs. Brock Hargens and Ronnie Bailey follow in batting average, .324 and .313, respectively. Bailey leads the team in runs scored and Hargens is tied for the team lead in stolen bases with six.
• On the hill, Christopher Sauceda holds the best ERA, 5.21, in 10 starts this season. Jan Cabera leads the team with a 5-5 record, posting a 5.65 ERA and leading the group with 47 strikeouts.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDSÂ
• The Hounds enter the penultimate weekend at 15-25 overall and 14-24. The offense has a .273 batting average and scored 235 runs this season. The Hounds have scattered 340 hits and provided 189 RBIs.

Spencer Roach has had a great first season with the Greyhounds. Roach leads the team with a .388 batting average, 54 hits, 32 RBIs.
