PORTALES, N.M. – After spending a season in prep school, Błażej Czerniewicz has signed to join ENMU Men's Basketball, announced Head Coach
Brent Owen.
The Gdańsk, Poland native will come to Portales, N.M. after spending the season at Hoosac School in Hoosick, N.Y. While at Hoosac, Czerniewicz battled in the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC), averaging 12 points and seven rebounds. Before suiting up for Hoosac, Czerniewicz played in the Polish 2 Liga for Politchnika Gd., averaging 17.5 ppg and 5.6 rpg.
"Błażej is 6'5 guard from Poland who can shoot the three and finish above the rim," said Owen. "He put up solid numbers in the notoriously challenging NEPSAC prep school league. He is a great young man who does very well in the classroom," said Owen. "He will have four years to spend with us in Portales and we look forward to seeing him on the court with us this season,".
The ENMU Men's Basketball 2022 recruiting class now stands seven. Czerniewicz joins Jose Murillo, Dwayne Chester, Malique Oates, Grehlon Easter, Alex Bossinakis, and Greg Johnson. Owen and his staff completed their first season in 2021-22 after the Hounds missed out on the 2020-21 season.
