PORTALES, N.M. – Head coach
Kelley Lee and the Greyhounds are 3-0 to begin the 2023 season.
The fourth-year head coach has produced a pair of single digit victories and a road win over a future conference opponent to open the year.
With just three home games remaining, ENMU Athletics is introducing a mini plan with tickets to all three football contests.
"Every conference game is vital and a full Greyhound Stadium is always a fun environment," said head coach
Kelley Lee. "This plan will get fans to the final three football games and a chance to support both basketball programs during their home opener."
Those games include: Angelo State (Sept. 30), Texas A&M-Kingsville (Oct. 21), and West Texas A&M (Nov. 4).
On September 30, ENMU is recognizing the 2013 Lone Star Conference champions during the halftime ceremony and all Greyhound students are encouraged to welcome their families to the game as the contest will feature Family Day.
The following game will be the Homecoming game. The evening will feature a ceremony recognizing the 2023 class inducted into the ENMU Athletics Hall of Honors. Recipients include Dana Altman (basketball), Kamal Cass (football), Kristen Cruickshank (softball), Albert Flinn (rodeo), Mike Howard (football), and Cecil Jackson (football).
During the season finale, seniors will be recognized and the 36th edition of the Wagon Wheel Game will take place. One year ago, Eastern New Mexico defeated West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas and currently is in possession of the infamous trophy.
The price for the general admission package is $35 and for VIP it is $100. For more information on tickets, please reach out to the Director of Ticket Sales, Sebastian Jimenez (sebastian.jimenez@enmu.edu).
