PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Women's Soccer will hold its Senior Day Ceremonies this Saturday, as the team recognizes its 11 graduating seniors. The Greyhounds will face St. Mary's University on Saturday (Oct. 26) afternoon at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium. Senior day ceremonies will begin at 12:40 p.m., while kick-off is slated for 1 p.m.

SERIES INSIGHT

• The Greyhounds look for just their second win against the Rattlers in series history. St. Mary's holds a 7-1-2 edge over the Greyhounds.
• ENMU's only win against the Rattlers came on home turf in 2007, with a 2-1 victory on Sept. 2.
• St. Mary's have scored in every match when they play the Greyhounds. With the Greyhounds being shutout in four of the 10 meetings.
• Eastern are still looking for their first conference victory over St. Mary's, trailing 0-3-1 in conference meetings.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS

• Currently, the Greyhounds sit at 2-9-1 on the season, while holding a 1-6-0 conference record. Eastern's last match was six days ago, falling at home to Angelo State (3-0).
• Four different Greyhounds have hit the back of the net this season. Gaia Chies, Jacqueline Garcia, Mariana Gonzalez Jimenez, and Meghann Wingsutton have each scored this season, with Gonzalez Jimenez, and Wingsutton each adding an assist. Katelyn Aune and Cristabela Mendoza also have an assist for ENMU.
• Rosie Willmott Joyce leads the conference with 69 saves (5.75saves per game) starting every match this season. The shot stopper has a pair of shutouts, while holding a .734 save percentage.
• Eastern are finding 7.0 shots per game with 50% of those shots going on goal. Both Sarah Tate and Sierra Villanueva have nine shots each to lead the Greyhounds, with Tate's seven shots on goal leading the team.
• The program will honor 11 seniors prior to the match: #00 Yaritza Pelayo, #7 Julia Schjut, #10 Mariana Zevallos, #12 Sofia Trejo, #13 Sierra Villanueva, #14 Meghann Wingsutton, #15 Ally Spicker, #16 Sarah Tate, #20 Raegan Dash, #24 Jacqueline Garcia, and #25 Jayden Romo.

SCOUTING THE RATTLERS

• St. Mary's look to find good form as the season ends, winning just once in their last six matches. Overall, the Rattlers hold a 5-5-3 record, along with a 3-3-2 Lone Star Conference standing. Recently, StMU dropped a home match 1-0 to Texas Woman's.
• Shelby Paniagua leads the offense in several categories including assists (five), points (13), shots (51), and shots on goal (23), along with four goals to their total contribution. Malia Dominguez has five goals this season to lead the team, while Natalie Gonzalez makes an important contribution of four goals.
• In goal, Rebecca Difronzo played in all 13 games for the Rattlers. Difronzo holds a season record of 4-5-3, with three shutouts, while making 45 saves along with a 0.726 save percentage.
• The Rattlers are finding 14.0 shots per game, including 6.5 shots on goal per contest. So far this season, the St. Mary's has committed 144 fouls, with 14 yellow cards.
