KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) top 25 poll was released this afternoon and Eastern New Mexico men's basketball is receiving votes in the poll.
It is the third time in two seasons that ENMU has found themselves in the receiving votes category.
"It's really cool because our guys are working hard, and coaches are recognizing that" said head coach Daven Võ on the news. "Being ranked in the top 25 is where we want our program to be."
The poll includes several teams from the south central region (LSC, RMAC). Those programs include No. 2 West Texas A&M, No. 10 Colorado School of Mines, No. 15 DBU, and No. 23 MSU Denver. ENMU joins fellow regional foe, CSU Pueblo, with seven total votes.
Eastern New Mexico is looking to enter the top 25 polls for the first time since the 1995-96 season. The program plays Texas A&M International on the road this upcoming Sunday.
