INDIANAPOLIS - Eastern New Mexico men's basketball is sitting as the sixth seed in the NCAA DII south central regional rankings released this afternoon.

"We are excited to be in contention for an NCAA regional berth. Right now our focus is on doing what we need to do to win a conference tournament championship this week," said head coach Brent Owen on the opportunity to compete at the national level. "Next week we hope to be able to turn our attention towards competing for a national championship."

The last time ENMU earned a bid to the NCAA tournament came in 2004. The Greyhounds will find out if they make the group of the top-eight March 10 at 11 p.m. ET.
