PORTALES, N.M. – The 2024 cross country season is quickly approaching for Eastern New Mexico University. This year, the Greyhounds will compete at five events in three different states.

"We are eager to get back to competition this fall," said head coach Joshua Harden. "Our coaching staff has worked tirelessly in preparation for the 2024 season, and I am looking forward to the season starting."

ENMU's campaign begins in the Sooner State with a race hosted by Cameron, September 7.  It is the first time the Hounds have raced in Lawton since the 2021 LSC cross country championships.

For a third-straight year, Eastern New Mexico will compete at the Mustang Derby (Sept. 12) in Wichita Falls, Texas and the Highlands Cross Country Jam (Sept. 28) in Las Vegas, N.M.

The final regular season meet will be hosted by ENMU as the Hounds will bring several teams in the region to Portales as part of Homecoming weekend. The meet is slated for October 5.

Texas A&M-Kingsville hosts the 2024 LSC cross country championship, October 26.
