RICHARDSON, Texas – The Lone Star Conference recognized the 2025 all-academic team and one Greyhound is represented on the list.
"I am happy for Brian (Norton)," said assistant cross country coach Keyanah Browning. "He takes his academics seriously and this recognition shows that."
Junior
Brian Norton earned his first all-academic team honor after joining four other cross country runners on the list. Student-athletes from DBU, Oklahoma Christian, St. Edwards, and Western New Mexico represent the group.
Norton is in his second season with the Greyhounds after transferring from Northwestern State. He is pursuing a degree in business administration.
To be nominated for this award, competitors need to run in more than half of the team's competitions and carry at least a 3.30 grade point average along with at least a sophomore standing. He is one of two juniors recognized in the group.
