PORTALES, N.M. – The Lone Star Conference has recognized Eastern New Mexico University's Isabella Robertson with the LSC Sports Information Student Academic Award. The rising junior is one of 19 students to earn the distinction.
"Isabella has been a dedicated and reliable student-worker for the sports information office," said Sports Information and Media Coordinator Cameron Brennan on the awardee. "Isabella has always been a hard worker, frequently handles new tasks and roles they take on, exceeding expectations."
Sports information students holding at least a 3.30 GPA and sophomore status are eligible to earn the accolade. This is the first year the LSC has given this recognition to sports information student workers.
A Raton, N.M. native, Robertson, has worked for ENMU Athletics as a student worker for two years. With the department she helps by taking photos at events, producing broadcasts, organizing content on the website, and calling stats.
"I enjoy working with the athletics department," said Robertson. "I am grateful for the conference recognizing me for my work in the classroom and with the Greyhounds."
Outside of her work in athletics, Robertson spent time as a residential assistant in 2023-24 and helps welcome new students back to campus as a member of the "Dawg Days" team.
She is currently pursuing studies in psychology and plans to graduate early.
