INDIANAPOLIS – Eastern New Mexico ranks seventh in the NCAA regional rankings released today. The Greyhounds stay in the top ten of the region as they prepare for the final regular season game of the season tomorrow afternoon in Canyon, Texas.
"Over the last four years, the goals here have changed, and we have raised the standard. We expect to go to conference and national tournaments," said head coach Daven Võ. "We've done a good job thus far putting ourselves in a position to do both things and now it is our time to capitalize on the opportunity."
Eight teams make it to the 2025 NCAA DII tournament from the south central region. ENMU will face a tough test as they travel to play West Texas A&M tomorrow. The Buffs were ranked tenth in the most recent rankings.
Eastern is currently 5-5 against teams listed in the rankings. It is the third-straight year that the Hounds have made the top ten in the south central regional rankings.
There will be one more rankings list come out next week before the full field is announced March 9.
