  • In last season's four-game series, the Greyhounds won the opening two games against SEU, with St. Edward's taking the final two games in Austin. • ENMU beat the Hilltoppers in a three-game series the last time the two teams played in Portales, winning the opening two games. During that series, the Greyhounds were expected to play a fourth game, but the contest was called off in the middle of the 1st inning due to unsafe field conditions.
  • The 2-1 series win in 2023 is the Greyhounds only series win over the Hilltoppers, while SEU swept Eastern in the first ever conference series meeting back in 2021.
