PORTALES, N.M. – On Friday morning,
Luciano Terilli was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) South Central All-Region Second Team. This is the first regional honor for Terilli in their ENMU career.
Terilli was a driving force of the Greyhounds offense, leading the team in hits, runs, walks, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and home runs. The team finished with a program record for walks, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and home runs during the 2025 season. The outfielder sported a .410 batting average, driving in 46 runs, while holding a 1.258 OPS. The Dallas, Texas native was also played outstanding defense, finding seven fielding assists from the outfield, including throwing out four runners at home trying to score.
In a single season, Terilli set several marks in the top-10 in Greyhounds history. Terilli set a single season record with 44 walks this season, was second in runs scored (62), and his 75 hits were the seventh most all-time. The seniors 12 home runs and 134 total bases finished 2
nd in a single season in program history, while his .732 slg pct (4
th best in single season) and his .526 OBP (2
nd best in single season) were also top-five marks.
ENMU concluded the season with 27-23 record, along with a 25-23 conference record. The win totals marked the highest in the
Riley Price era, setting a new program best for wins in the Lone Star Conference, beating out the 2023 conference mark of 21-26.
