Both become the first Greyhounds to earn all-region honors from ABCA in Riley Price

PORTALES, N.M. – Luciano Terilli and Willie Ponce have both been named to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division II South Central All-Region team. The all-region teams from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) are voted by a committee made up of eight head coaches, represented by one coach in each region.

Terilli was a driving force of the Greyhounds offense, leading the team in hits, runs, walks, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and home runs. The team finished with a program record for walks, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and home runs during the 2025 season. The outfielder sported a .410 batting average, driving in 46 runs, while holding a 1.258 OPS. The Greyhound shortstop played in all but one game for the Greyhounds, holding a 1.169 OPS, with 51 runs scored, 71 hits, and a team high 16 doubles. An Olathe, Kansas native, Ponce racked up 50 RBIs with five home runs, 21 walks, and a single season record 21 hit by pitches. On the bases, Ponce swiped 16 bags, while leading the Greyhounds defensively with 134 fielding assists, while turning 29 double plays.

In a single season, Ponce broke the single season hit by pitch record, adding to a program record 55 hit by pitch in their career. Ponce's .526 on-base percentage was tied for second in a single season, while his 16 doubles were the 10th most in an ENMU single season.
