Lone Star Conference recognizes 179 Greyhounds on LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll

Eastern New Mexico finishes with the third most recipients among LSC institutions on prestigious honor roll

RICHARDSON, Texas – Eastern New Mexico University boasts 179 awardees on the 2025 spring LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

"It is wonderful to have 179 recipients representing ENMU on the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll," said director of athletics Kevin Fite. "Our student-athletes excel not only in competition, but also in the classroom. I am grateful for all of their dedication and look forward to many more great successes."

Every semester, the conference office recognizes student-athletes and student workers (athletic training, sports information, athletic performance) for their efforts in the classroom. To be eligible, they need to reach a minimum of a 3.30 grade point average.

Eastern New Mexico earned the third most honorees compared to the other institutions in the Lone Star Conference. The top five schools include UT Tyler (229), Lubbock Christian (221), Eastern New Mexico (179), Angelo State (169), and St. Mary's (164). In total, the LSC recognized 2,461 student-athletes.

The honorees for each program at Eastern include football (44), baseball (22), men's track and field (20), women's soccer (19), women's track and field (18), softball (17), sports information (13), volleyball (9), men's basketball (8), and women's basketball (8).
