PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico Athletics is investing in improving FloCollege broadcasts for all Greyhound programs by introducing
Max Crider as the department's broadcast coordinator.
"One of my priorities is to improve our streaming services," said director of athletics
Kevin Fite. "Max (Crider) comes from a background working with Elon (NC) Athletics in live video production where he contributed to the production of 130+ broadcasts. His expertise will enhance our partnership with FloCollege and make a memorable viewing experience for fans who watch ENMU athletics contests."
Crider comes to Eastern New Mexico from Elon, N.C. where he most recently served as a freelancer with Ming Entertainment and part of the production crew for the Greensboro Grasshoppers.
While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Crider served as a technical director, replay operator, and audio tech for several broadcasts. He also gained experience by directing various live events for Elon.
For three years, he served as a commentator/studio host for WSOE 89.3 FM. In this role, he coordinated pregame, halftime, and postgame segments.
Crider earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from Elon in 2024.
At ENMU, Crider will direct all FloCollege broadcasts for Greyhound football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball. He will be responsible for all projects related to streaming and will work alongside KENW-TV staff and communications students to enhance viewer experience. He began the role on August 11.
