PORTALES, N.M. – Playing their first game in eight days, the Eastern New Mexico men's soccer team hosts Highway 60 rival West Texas A&M Sunday afternoon. The game will kickoff at 3 p.m. on ENMU Soccer Field.
The Greyhounds are riding a five-game unbeaten streak as they go into the contest with a 5-5-2 record while the Buffaloes are 7-5 after snapping a three-game skid Thursday at Texas-Permian Basin.
Although WT holds a 13-6-2 lead all-time over ENMU, the Greyhounds are 5-3-1 in the last nine meetings dating back to 2010. In the first game between the teams in Canyon, Texas, sophomore midfielder
John Jamison scored the lone goal of the game in the 40th minute. Eastern is 3-5-2 all-time at home against the Buffs with the last win coming on Sept. 11, 2011 by the score of 1-0.

Gil Munoz have found the back of the net three times apiece. Jamison is the only other player to score multiple goals this year with two.
Pacing the team with five assists is sophomore midfielder
Jose Hernandez. His total is tied for the fifth most in a season by a Greyhound and tied for 38th in the nation. Junior midfielder
Carlos Viveros and Crosby both have three assists as well.
Freshman goalkeeper
James Gutierrez is ranked nationally in GAA (58th), save percentage (24th) and saves (51st). He sports a 1.05 GAA, .817 save percentage and 49 saves with a 5-3-2 record.
The Buffaloes will be playing their third straight game on the road versus Eastern New Mexico. WT is 3-1 in road games with wins over Adams State (5-0), CSU-Pueblo (5-3) and UTPB (7-1) while their lone loss was to 13th-ranked Midwestern State 3-2 in double overtime.
Vitor Cardoso leads the Buffaloes in goals (6), points (16), shots (33) and shots on goal (16). He is also tied for the team lead of three assists with Christopher Hutton. Chris Johnson has found the back of the net five times while Hutton has added four scores. Alex Cervantes, Axel Insulander and Michael Williams have score twice this year as well. Three assists have gone to Insulander and Michael Williams has two to his name.
In goal, Patrik Satorie has started 10 games and is 5-5 on the season. He goes into the match with a 1.28 GAA, .707 save percentage and 29 saves. Carlos Ruiz (2-0) has played in four games, starting two of them. He sports a 1.49 GAA and .714 save percentage with 10 stops. Making his first appearance at UTPB was Jose Flores, who played the final 5:34 and did not have to make a save.
