PLAYOFF PICTURE

  • Currently, the Greyhounds sit in a tie for 8th place with nine points as the top six teams advance to the LSC postseason tournament. ENMU is tied with Lubbock Christian in 8th, meaning each team can finish as high as 12 points with a win.
  • The other key game is UT Tyler (6th place, 11 points) vs Sul Ross State. UT Tyler can confirm a postseason spot with a victory over the Lobos, but a loss or draw would open the door for ENMU and LCU.
  • With a UT Tyler loss, ENMU would need to win the match against Lubbock Christian to earn the final postseason spot. The same is for Lubbock Christian with a UT Tyler loss, needing a win to qualify.
  • If UT Tyler and Sul Ross play out a draw, ENMU would need to win by three goals to advance, while LCU would need to win by five goals to win the tiebreaker.
  • A draw or loss for the Greyhounds and Chaparrals would eliminate them from postseason contention.
