Brandon Misuraca resigns as ENMU men's soccer coach

Misuraca departs ENMU after three seasons with the Greyhounds

PORTALES, N.M. – After three seasons leading Eastern New Mexico men's soccer, head coach Brandon Misuraca is resigning from his position. Misuraca and his wife, Kristin, are expecting their first child and made the decision to move closer to both of their families in the Greater St. Louis-area.

"I am very grateful to have been given the task of restarting the program here at Eastern New Mexico," said Brandon Misuraca. "It's been a labor of love over the past three years. I am so thankful for all of those who have helped me in this project. While the decision to step down is difficult, it was an easy one to make in putting my growing family first."

Misuraca's biggest task was reestablishing the Greyhound men's soccer program, which did not play in 2020 or 2021. He quickly got the program back in action and led the Land of Enchantment's only NCAA men's soccer program for the past three seasons.

During his tenure, the Missouri native coached three student-athletes who are playing professionally. Misuraca helped ENMU beat two top-25 programs while leading the Hounds. ENMU went 8-8-4 in matchups played at Steve Loy Family Foundation Stadium during his tenure.

"Wishing Brandon and Kristin the best as they begin this new journey," said director of athletics Kevin Fite. "We thank Brandon for his dedication to the men's soccer program and commend him for making a decision that puts his family first."

A comprehensive, national search for the next head coach of Eastern New Mexico men's soccer will begin immediately.
