PORTALES, N.M. — Despite the temperatures cooling down, the Eastern New Mexico University men's basketball team (6-4) is heating up and has won three of its last four games, which includes a 102-99 decision at regionally-ranked University of Texas of the Permian Basin, last weekend. The Hounds will look to continue that hot streak with a road trip to chilly Rapid City, S.D., where the temperatures are expected to dip into the low teens this week. The Hounds' lone contest this week will be against South Dakota School of Mines & Technology.

ENMU rallied from a four-point deficit to post a 68-63 road win on January 1, 2014.
Cornelius Cammock registered a double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while
Rodney Blackmon had 13 points. Jordan Dick and Michael Dietz led SDM with 15 points each.
Later that month, ENMU posted an 86-72 win over the Hardrockers, behind
Rafael Love's 21 points. Lance Kilburn led South Dakota Mines with 16 points.
