EVANSVILLE, IND. — Eastern New Mexico University's Omer Almog crossed the finish line at the 32:44.4 mark to conclude his season for the Greyhound men's cross country team. The junior's strong season ended with a 95th-place finish at the NCAA Division Championship Meet at Angel Mounds in Evansville, Ind.

His finish in the 10k race put him six-tenths of a second in front of 96th-place finisher Tim Hoenig (Queens) and one-tenth of a second behind Sean Heaton (Iindiana). The competition featured 249 runners.

Almog's appearance at the NCAA Championship meet was the second straight for a Greyhound, as Mercy Rotich competed for the women's team at last year's National Championship. The men's team's last representative was Mikey Davila in the 2013 season.

With Almog's performance at the NCAA Division II Championships, the ENMU cross country team has concluded its season.
