PORTALES, N.M. – Eastern New Mexico volleyball prepares for a postseason push with a final set of home games of the season, first welcoming Dallas Baptist University on Friday, Nov. 12, with a 6 p.m. start time. The following day, the Hounds will face Texas Women's University beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov, 13 at Greyhound Arena. The Hounds will have Parent's Night on Friday evening to honor parents and guardians of ENMU Volleyball. On Saturday, the program will honor senior athletes for Senior Day.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hounds saw its five-game winning streak snapped over the weekend. First, falling to Lubbock Christian University, 3-1, on Friday. Followed by a 3-1 loss against #6 Angelo State University.
SCOUTING THE HOUNDS
Eastern enter the final week of the regular season with a 6-17 record, along with a 6-9 conference standing. The Hounds are finding 11.1 kills per set (k/s), while adding 10.1 assists per set (a/s) to the office. Defensively, ENMU are posting 12.8 digs per set (d/s), along with 2.08 blocks per set (b/s).

Dallas Baptist University
The Patriots enter the weekend's competition holding a 12-6 standing, while posting a 9-6 LSC record. DBU recorded two back-to-back sweeps in their most recent outings, with a 3-0 sweep of Western New Mexico University (WNMU), then a 3-0 win over University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB).
Overall, DBU are posting 13.1 k/s and 11.7 a/s on offense. The 13.1 k/s stand in fifth among all LSC programs. The Patriots on defense are suppling 16.1 d/s, and adding 2.0 b/s up front.
