PORTALES, N.M. - The Eastern New Mexico baseball team finishes out the regular season at Texas A&M-Kingsville this weekend. The Greyhounds and Javelinas will meet at 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, followed by a 12 p.m. contest on Saturday.Â

SCOUTING THE JAVELINAS
Texas A&M-Kingsville enters the weekend with an overall record of 15-9 and a 14-9 mark in the Lone Star Conference. The Javelinas last played on April 17 when they fell 13-1 to St. Edward's. The last game of the series against St. Edward's and last weekend's series against West Texas A&M were canceled.
The Javelinas are led offensively by Giancarlo Servin who has a .349 batting average to go with 29 hits, two doubles, four home runs, and 22 RBI. Seth Spinn paces the team in hits (32), doubles (6), and triples (4).
On the mound, Logan Garza has seen the most time with 47.0 innings. He has a 4.21 ERA, 72 strikeouts, and a 2-1 record. Kolby Lunsford leads the way in wins with a 3-3 record.

LAST TIME OUT
Eastern New Mexico enters the weekend with an overall record of 8-27 and a LSC record of 7-25. Last weekend the Greyhounds went 2-1 against Texas A&M International. They won Friday's doubleheader by scores of 9-4 and 12-11, before falling 7-6 in Saturday's contest.
Nicholas Tamez went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Friday's first game.
Rio Granger and
Andres Quintana also notched a home run each in that first game of the weekend.
On the mound,
Fernando Burgos and
Cooper Hamilton picked up wins, while
Liam Sabiston was credited with a save.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Trevor Moses leads the team in batting average (.296), while
Cole Luedeking (.292) and
Nicholas Tamez (.291) are close behind. Tamez has contributed 34 hits, five doubles, five home runs, and 24 RBI this season.
Braeton Matthews is a perfect 7-7 on stolen bases so far this season, while
Matthew Kory is 5-5 and
Camden Matthews is 10-12.
Dalton Thatcher and
Josh Lewis have seen the most time on the mound for the Hounds with 42.1 and 37.1 innings, respectively. Lewis also leads all Eastern pitchers in strikeouts with 30.
Damian Acosta leads the way in wins with a 3-1 record, while
Cooper Hamilton has two wins and Thatcher,
James Romero, and
Fernando Burgos all have one victory.
