PORTALES, N.M. – Coming off a pair of wins, Eastern New Mexico Volleyball returns to Texas with a trip to Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville. ENMU play TAMIU on Friday, Oct. 14, with first serve at 5 p.m. Then, the Greyhounds face-off against TAMUK on Saturday, Oct. 15, with the match starting at 12 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Greyhounds collected two wins in its last time out, with sweeps over Midwestern State and at Angelo State. ENMU also facing UTPB during the week, falling 3-1 to the Falcons. Against MSU, the Greyhounds recorded a .308 hitting percentage in the home win, while ENMU stunned ASU at home for the first time since 2005.
SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Eastern have a record of 12-10 entering this weekend, along with a 3-7 LSC standing. As a team the Greyhounds produce 12.1 kills per set (k/s), along with 11.0 assists per set (a/s), and 1.5 service aces per set (sa/s). On defense, Eastern pick up 16.7 digs per set (d/s) with 2.1 blocks per set (b/s).

Mikaela Garvin paces the program with 3.61 points per set, posting a team high 3.13 k/s.
Gracelyn Stubbs is also a big contributor on the offense, posting 3.09 points per set, with 2.28 k/s, a team high .341 hitting percentage, and a program best 0.83 b/s.
Kayla Ison has started the last four matches for ENMU, leading the team with 5.53 a/s.
Qitana Sapiga adds 3.93 a/s to the cause.
Getsemani Carrasco is the defensive standout, averaging 4.41 d/s.

Around the conference, the Greyhounds have three top five marks among LSC teams. The Greyhounds have the top opponent hitting percentage (.128), while holding opponents to just 10.6 k/s (2
nd best in LSC) and stand fifth for opponent digs at 15.2 (d/s). Â
SCOUTING THE DUSTDEVILS
The Dustdevils currently hold a record of 14-5, along with a 5-1 record in LSC play (3
rd in season standings). TAMIU were handed their first conference loss this season with a 3-0 loss to DBU but won a five-set match against UT Tyler in their latest matchups.

Texas A&M International enter as one of the top teams in LSC offensively. TAMIU find 13.2 k/s, a hitting percentage of .218, and 12.3 a/s (All 3
rd in the LSC). Additionally, the Dustdevils collect 16.8 d/s and 1.7 b/s on defense.

Mackenzie Catalina powers the Dustdevils offense with 4.39 points per game, and 3.90 k/s (3
rd in LSC). Megan Menchaca and Giulia Hortelan also add to the offense with 3.51 k/s and 3.14 k/s, respectively. Emma Lade leads all LSC competitors with 11.03 a/s. On defense, Lixai Perez provides 4.70 d/s and Hannah Thompson is the leader at the net with 0.83 b/s.
SCOUTING THE JAVELINAS
The Javelinas will face the Greyhounds for the second time this season, with Eastern taking the first matchup 3-2 on Sept. 10. At this point in the season, TAMUK sport a record of 11-8 with a 3-3 standing in LSC action and will play Lubbock Christian on Friday. Texas A&M-Kingsville dropped a pair of games last week, falling to DBU 3-0 and UTT 3-1.
