Men's soccer hosts its first home match of the 2022 season against MSU

PORTALES, N.M. – NCAA men's soccer is back in the state of New Mexico Wednesday night at Greyhound Stadium.

The match begins at 5:30 p.m. against one of the best teams in the Lone Star Conference, Midwestern State.

Last Time Out
ENMU fell to #18 St. Mary's in San Antonio. The loss was their first in conference play.

Pump Up Paul
One of the most exciting keepers in the conference is Paul Waschkau. He ranks in the top-half of nearly every statistical category in the LSC. He also helped ENMU maintain a four-game unbeaten streak.

Forward ENMU
The Greyhounds are the top team in the conference when it comes to shots on goal per game with 7.86. Jaime Oliva is fourth in that individual category marking 1.57 per contest.

Comeback Outlook
After a loss, the program is 1-1 this season. They began the 2022 campaign with back-to-back losses, but followed it up with three wins and a tie.

Series History
The Mustangs lead the series over the Greyhounds, 21-2-3, but Eastern won the last meeting between the conference foes in 2019. ENMU holds a perfect 8-0 record against DBU.

The easiest way to access the game is by watching it live at Greyhound Stadium. The match will also be live steamed via the Lone Star Conference Digital Network. Doc Elder is expected to be on the call for the Hounds first match in Portales since 2019. Saturday's game against the Patriots will also be streamed on the LSC Network.
