Men's soccer to host NM senior showcase Dec. 10

New Mexican high school seniors are encouraged to attend event

PORTALES, N.M. - Eastern New Mexico University men's soccer will host its first ever Senior Showcase on Saturday, December 10th at Greyhound Stadium (1500 S. Ave K) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This event is open to all New Mexico high school seniors who are interested in exploring collegiate soccer. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches and learn more about the recruiting process across various levels. To ensure that this event is open to all New Mexico high school seniors regardless of socioeconomic status, this event will cost one dollar.

"As the only NCAA men's soccer program in the state and only state university in New Mexico to offer men's soccer, we are fully committed to keeping the top talent in the Land of Enchantment," said head coach Brandon Misuraca. "As one of only two men's soccer programs in the NCAA that represent an entire state, we are focused on ensuring that we continually build this program #ForTheState."

The showcase will begin with registration from 9-10 a.m., followed by a technical session, 7 v 7 games, Q&A with college coaches, and 11 v 11 games. Lunch (not provided) will be from noon to 1:30 p.m.

This event will be capped to ensure that all players in attendance have maximum exposure and interaction with college coaches. Participants must preregister online via the camps page by clicking here.

Registration can be done through Friday, December 9th or until the limit has been met.
