CANYON, Texas – Gracelyn Stubbs and
Mikaela Garvin have both received LSC All-Conference recognition, as announced at the 2022 LSC Volleyball Championship on Wednesday evening. Stubbs and Garvin both earned LSC All-Conference Second Team honors. Garvin picks up their second career all-conference accolade, while Stubbs earns their first all-conference nod.
Stubbs made an impact on both sides of the ball for ENMU this past season. The senior middle-blocker provided a team high hitting percentage of (.336), which stands as the 9
th best hitting percentage in a single season and moved their career hitting percentage to 0.291 (9
th best career percentage in program history). Additionally, the Albuquerque, N.M. native contributed 261 kills (2.39 k/s), 30 service aces, 90.0 blocks (0.83 b/s), and 346.0 points (3.17 p/s). Stubbs marks for blocks and total points led the team, while their kills and service aces were second for the Greyhounds. Around the conference, Stubbs hitting percentage finished 5
th in the LSC regular season, while also being top-30 in the LSC for points per set (18
th), blocks per set (22
nd), and kills per set (27
th).
Garvin lands on the all-conference second team after leading the Greyhounds in kills, kills per set, and points per set this season. The opposite hitter paced the Hounds attack with a team high 284 kills (2.90 k/s), and 3.35 p/s. The San Antonio, Texas native finished with 328.0 points and 74.0 blocks (0.76 b/s). Among conference competitors, Garvin finished 15
th for points per set at 3.35 p/s and landed in the top-20 for kills per set, 16
th with 2.90 k/s. Garvin placed 24
th in the LSC for hitting percentage (.243) and 25
th for blocks per set (0.76).
The Greyhounds completed the 2022 season this past Friday finishing with a record of 15-13, marking the winningest season since 2016 when the Greyhounds went 19-13.
