SAN ANGELO, TEXAS – Spencer Roach received Second Team All-LSC Honors at the 2022 LSC Baseball Awards Banquet, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday evening. Roach is the first Greyhound to receive All-Conference accolades since 2019, and the first ENMU student-athlete to make the 2^nd team since Garlind Webster in 2018.

Roach had an outstanding first season with the Hounds. Leading the team in batting average (.395) and hits (66), Roach carried Hounds offense with 36 RBIs, four homeruns, 92 total bases, a .551 SLG%, .449 OB%, and 1.000 OPS. The Cape Coral, Florida native started in every game he played in this season, missing just one game. The designated hitter posted 20 multi-hit games and collected a hit in 33 of his last 36 games. Roach set a single game high for hits with four against Lubbock Christian (4/10) and a season best five RBI's in the Hounds 16-1 win over LCU (4/9).

ENMU finished the season with the most LSC wins in program history, with a 16-30 record in LSC play and a 17-31 overall record. Roach is the first individual to receive conference honers during the Riley Price era, as Price lead the Greyhounds to its winingest season in his tenure.
