NEW ORLEANS – Eastern New Mexico University's Alex Williams is on the South Central All-Region team after placing in the top-five in his respective event this season.

His throw of 65.12m (213' 8") ranks third among javelin throwers in the region. He is the first outdoor all-region honoree at ENMU since Jessica Campbell did so in the javelin and heptathlon in 2021.

Honors for the 2023 NCAA Division II outdoor track & field season were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

The five best individuals in each event from each region earned all-region honors. Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
