Shacie Marr post a 2.5s run in the long round and took sixth overall after a 12.2s run in the short go. She earned the program 28.33 scoring points for her performance at the College Daze Rodeo.
3.) Oh So Close – Zachary Townsend finished four places outside of advancing to the short go in steerwrestling this week. His teammate
Couy McBride came about 1.3s shy for a place to compete in the championship round in tiedown roping. McBride also had a shot to team-up with West Texas A&M's student-athlete Kolton Smith in the team roping competition. The two were about 3.4s away from qualifying for Saturday's final round of runs.Â
